About me

I’m a self-taught artist, living in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire.  For years, I worked as a HR professional and have always loved making art to maintain life balance. Having recently scaled back my career, I am enjoying exploring new media.  Over the years, I’ve tried my hand at various media and those that I’ve felt drawn to, have “stuck”, especially mosaic and collage. Watercolor, not so much…..

Influenced by classic direct mosaics, my mosaics are either the result of a self exploration process or my love of folklore and nature. I especially like incorporating recycled materials into my work. I’ve recently began working in picassiette mosaic style, which literally means “broken plate” in French. I love being able to take a damage or cracked plate and make something beautiful from it.

My collages are inspired by everyday life, especially my love for nature. Collages are made from hand painted rice paper , found papers and recycled papers. No one’s paper trash is safe from me!

Thanks for looking at my work! Feel free to contact me with questions.

I will consider commission projects on a case-by-case basis.
